My OC Pokemon Trainer, Alan, and his Luxray exacting their revenge on my OC Team Galactic Commander, Mercury, and his Houndoom. In a previous encounter, three years prior to this scene, Mercury had captured and eventually killed Alan's Bulbasaur.

As the rain poured down and the electric smoke rose from the defeated Houndoom's body, Alan stared into the bloodied face of the man below him. So many thoughts ran through his head...flashes of images of Bulbasaur, lying on the ground of the laboratory, lifeless...echoes of Mercury's laughter...the pang of hatred mixed with grief that twisted in his stomach when he watched the man kick his murdered partner aside like garbage. Alan knew that eventually this day would come--he would find Mercury and would become overwhelmed with the lust for revenge. But for your sake, Bulbasaur, thought Alan, I won't take this too far. But I'm gonna let him know that Team Galactic will never succeed...and I will always, always stand between them and their goals.

With his hands clenched tightly into fists, Alan dropped to a knee beside the bruised figure of Mercury.

"Three years ago you killed my Bulbasaur...the first Pokemon that ever became my partner...and for what? For your plan? Team Galactic's Plan? Well let me show you what I think about your plan!"
