I emerge from radio silence with cosplay! A year in the making, I finally debuted my Darth Revan armour at Phoenix Comicon 2013 (and became an official member in the 501st in the same weekend. Pretty much the coolest weekend of all time). Navigating comicon with almost zero vision was pretty (not) fun, but my wife strong armed our way through the crowds and kept me from tripping over children so it ended up going pretty well. Around a month before Comicon rolled out the local 501st, Rebel Legion, Mandalorian Mercs and Droid builders groups got together and we all built sets and stages to make our corner of the vendor hall look like it was straight out of the Mos Eisley Cantina. We even had a table with a Greedo (made by one of the local guys) set up with his blaster so you could sit on the other side and 'shoot first' lol. AND we had a live Cantina band. It was honestly one of the most memorable experiences in my life thus far.

A lot of love and labour went into this armour--with hard parts commissioned from MyWickedArmour (all of which have been heavily modified by myself) and soft parts made and modified by myself and my awesome friend and his awesome wife. The lightsaber was purchased from Ultrasabers and modified by myself to be more accurate to Revan's actual saber from the first KOTOR game. I'll make modifications and replacements as time goes on...I'll probably get a second saber as well for his red/purple combo. All in all I'm happy with it.

You, sir. You have done well. Only one improvement could possibly be made: the addition of armour to the chest, as Revan would have wished you to have to protect your glorious devotion. Remember that for next time. The most loyal servants live for their cause, and you have proved yourself to be among Revan's most loyal. Wear armour proudly, and live for the cause that is the worship of Lord Revan. For now, however, simply stand proud at your accomplishments. You have done a great thing.
